An exciting and highly successful company in town is looking for a Data Warehouse developer to add to the team.
This person will be responsible for working closely with Business Analysts and other project stakeholders to understand, identify, design, develop, and deploy technical processes and code that will fulfill identified business requirements and enhancements.
You should be able to analyze, design, and propose a clear, detailed technical plan and estimates to the Project Leader that will utilize corporate technology tools, meets acceptable IT standards and best practices, and will support the business needs going forward as well as have the ability to troubleshoot (identify and analyze) various data issues (i.e.
discrepancies, quality, and process issues).
The qualified candidate will have a strong understanding in systems analysis, database and data warehouse design as well as complex ETL processes and procedures and have strong knowledge of Fact and Dimension models and how Fact and Dimension tables relate in particular, when implementing Star Schema.
You should have experience writing, modifying, and fine tuning SQL stored procedures, user defined functions, and SQL scripts and have a good understanding (and use) of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tools such as Informatica and SQL SSIS.
Strong Informatica skills are a must (Power Center Designer, Power Center Workflow Manager, etc).
This is a very high profile role with a leader in its industry.
