The Market Access Manager will define payer evidence requirements and work with GE Healthcare team to deliver corresponding data. You will support the EU Marketing & Sales Organizations to identify opportunities for revenue growth directly linked to Market Access. You will build project plans, metrics & objectives and will be responsible for driving local implementation either with existing sales & marketing teams or through third-party vendors with specific, local Market Access expertise.

Essential Responsibilities:


The EU Market Access Manager will provide Market Access Leadership and Expertise to Local GEHC Market and Sales Organizations to identify opportunities for revenue growth across the portfolio. In addition, specific responsibilities for existing GEHC marketed products are:


• Develop and execute the Market Access strategy for pre-launch brands in coordination with local marketing and sales teams
This includes but not limited to
- Launch sequencing
- Local pricing strategy
- EU Value proposition and local country adaptation
- Define payer evidence requirements for GEHC HECON team
- Manage Price and market access submissions to local authorities


• Facilitate rollout of existing brands economic payer models
- Adapt to local country needs
- Supplement model based on learning from US data mining exercise


• Build value proposition to justify newly launched brands inclusion in local payer funding exercises
- Develop specific, local value messages
- Define local economic evidence requirements to GEHC HECON team


Minimum Requirements:


• Advanced degree in a healthcare discipline e.g. biological science, economics, health economics, health services research, epidemiology, statistics or related disciplines
• Significant industry experience in a health technology company, consulting firm, etc
• Solid understanding of reimbursement systems and policies in the major European Markets
• Direct experience with payers either through HTA submissions or reimbursement negotiations
• Ability to lead and work effectively across a highly matrixed organization including senior executives: includes and motivates others to succeed towards business goals. Interfaces mainly with internal staff up to Officer level


Preferred requirements:


• Experience relevant to medical diagnostics or devices desired but not required
• External Focus – deep process knowledge of payers, providers & policy makers in selected countries
