Eckoh is an award winning employer and are the UK’s leading provider of multi-channel customer service and secure payment solutions. Due to continual growth, we are seeking a talented PHP Developer to join our experienced team.
As a seasoned developer, you will produce high quality commercial PHP applications from inception to fruition using your knowledge of Frameworks (Zend) APIs, REST and SOAP web services and your ability to produce code with low defects.
You will be working on a range of complex projects for blue chip customers which run in a multi-tiered LINUX based voice/web platform.
Key responsibilities of the role include developing a range of projects, such as:
- High quality commercial PHP applications from inception to fruition
- Produce APIs for consumption by internal and external channels including mobile
- Backend system integration
- Payment websites
- Interactive Voice Recognition systems
Working as part of a team of developers, you will expected to gain domain specific specialist knowledge in Interactive Voice Recognition and telecommunication technologies. You will work on a range complex projects, sometimes autonomously, that require flexibility in approach and will be expected to grasp concepts quickly and communicate clearly with the team and project stakeholders.
You will need to have great attention to detail and always be driven to produce the highest level of quality code.
Eckoh have a variety of technologies in our stack including PHP, Zend Framework, Voice XML (VXML), MySQL/NoSQL databases, JavaScript libraries including Backbone and Angular, Nodejs, IOS, Android, CCXML, VOIP, SIP.
Technical skills required for the role are:
- PHP – solid commercial experience
- Frameworks (Zend, Symphony, Laravel etc)
- APIs
- REST/SOAP Web Services
- JavaScript
Whilst not essential any of the following skills would be beneficial to the role:
Designs Patterns, Solution design, Test Driven Development (TDD), Web Sockets, Nodejs,
JavaScript Frameworks ( Angular, Backbone etc.), CSS SASS/LESS, IVR, Avaya CTI, PaaS/SaaS, UX,
MySQL/NoSQL, HTML5, CCXML, PCIDSS, Application security, Linux
