Job Description
- Ensuring that ‘basic’ processes such as Supplier schedules, daily diaries, weekly schedules, programme monitoring / mark up are in place.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, company policies and procedures.
- Understanding and correctly implementing the requirements of the NEC contract.
- Timely and accurate reporting to senior management on site activities, including any supply chain activities.
- Effective management of risk & opportunity and sharing of best practice.
- Ensuring the management of defects clearance.
- Robust regular review of contract programme.
- Assisting in Supplier selection and engagement with shared and open discussions on risks and rewards.
- Ensuring accurate records of site activities are kept and up to date.
- Training, coaching and mentoring other members of staff as appropriate.
- Sharing knowledge and best practice, driving continuous improvement year on year.
- Efficient delivery through innovative solutions and close engagement with key suppliers.
- Ensuring that risks on each project are clearly understood by all and mitigated accordingly.
- Understanding and implementing actions from ‘lessons learnt’ meetings.
- Closing out projects effectively and speedily, with a right first time approach to work.
Person Specification
