Summary: The HR and Finance Systems Business Analyst provides HR and Finance/Accounting subject matter expertise and is responsible for leading projects and providing support for the finance and human resources ERP applications, as well as other business applications. The position reports to the Manager of ERP Applications and will work with IT, business leaders, and end users to implement projects and resolve issues, working from concept through implementation and ongoing support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Supports Kronos Time and Attendance, Ariba Procurement and Accounts Payble, JD Edwards Enterprise One Financial and HR Applications, and other ERP-related systems Collaborates closely with business departments, other IT team members, and consultant teams to analyze requirements, propose, implement, and maintain solutions. Configures applications to support business requirements Analyzes and executes activities that ensure dependable operation and maintenance of key systems Tests application changes to ensure quality Carefully monitors systems for problems and effectively resolves them Collaborates with other IT team members to continuously improve our people, processes, and technology Utilizes and enhances department standards for operational excellence Prepares process, functional, and technical documentation Maintains strong relationships with business departments through effective communication and reliable delivery.


Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a technology field 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar roles with strengths in gathering requirements and system implementation/maintenance Deep experience with hands-on configuration and maintenance of business applications in the HR and/or Finance/Accounting/Payroll/AP areas Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining interfaces and file transfers between systems. Demonstrated experience using structured processes for systems analysis, testing, implementation, and maintenance Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Although not all skills are required, the ideal team member will have a mix of experience in these areas: Specific knowledge of Kronos 6.x and JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.x Accounting/Finance/Payroll/AP/HR/ESS in an iSeries environment Experience with Ariba Procurement to Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable, including interfaces to JD Edwards Experience working with and interfacing to cloud-based HR applications, such as Taleo Learning Management System and Success Factors Recruiting and Talent Management. Experience using reporting and query tools Experience with property management or hospitality environments Experience with the iSeries operating environment Knowledge of Share Point Holiday Retirement is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
