We are launching a HUGE comparison site, which is going to have a number of different pricing tools linking up with different partners. Some have already been built and some are a dream we want you to help us create.
Who We Need:
We are looking for someone who has a solid understanding of LAMP server set up with great programming/coding skills. You should have the ability to manage yourself and an eye for design would be helpful, although not essential. We also love a great sense of humour and the ability to laugh at yourself and the rest of the team! The key skills our existing developer has been using for the tools already built are:
- - PHP OOP(Object Oriented Programming)
- - My SQL DB for the database
- - Apache for web-server
- - Linux based server
- - JQuery, Ajax for user interface/other coding
What You Will Get From Us:
A progressive and challenging role – we expect the person who fills to become technical director within a few years. We are also happy to offer an extremely generous bonus structure.
You are likely to lead a team of developers which we will let you recruit within a year. We move really fast on any ideas that can help us so your opinions are not only listened to – we actively encourage them! Friday afternoons we always wind down with Pizza or a BBQ and a team meeting where we all discuss ideas and future plans. Our office is a fun filled atmosphere where we often have reward days which so far have included things like Go Carting, Quad Biking, Top Golf, Thorpe Park and TGI’s.
We are in the early stages of launching a site that is going to make a huge amount of revenue so anyone who comes on board in these early days is likely to move fast up the career progression ladder very fast and naturally that means you will be earning a considerable amount over the next 5 years.
