Infrastructure & Service Delivery Analyst
Our client is a successful business looking to move to the next level and are investing in a major and exciting I.T. vision. As a key part of this substantial project you will play a key role in the IT team. The role will provide 3rd line infrastructure expertise. The primary purpose is to ensure fit for purpose and appropriate IT service delivery to the business, delivering to and reporting on agreed service metrics whilst developing and implementing IT infrastructure that results in the continuous improvement of IT service quality. You will play a vital role in evolving, managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, as well as being a key player in IT project delivery. You will manage, mentor and develop the IT Service Desk team. This is a broad and dynamic and fast paced technology role.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: As many of the list below as possible:
- Formal Microsoft or Cisco or VMware Systems training/qualification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification absolute minimum
- Thorough understanding of understanding of TCP/IP networking and support in an MPLS environment, firewalls and security (Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint)
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and MS Exchange 2010 / 2013
- VMWare – ESX/View
- Citrix – XenApp, Xen Desktop
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and accurately
- Excellent problem solving skills
- SAN/Storage Networks
- Backup Exec or equivalent
- Management and liaison with outsourced providers
- Apple IOS / Apple devices / Tablets / Smartphones
- MS SQL
- Contact Centre Telephony VoIP / SIP – Avaya, Cisco, Cloud ACD
- Oracle DB
- ERP
