About the Role:
We have an opportunity to join the Billing leadership team as Charge Entry Manager. This role will report directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager and will play an integral part in driving the direction of front end billing processes and of the billing team as a whole. This role’s main focus will be to ensure that all charges are entered accurately and efficiently on a monthly basis.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and monitor the workflows and priorities of the Charge Entry team including, but not limited to: managing SLAs, auditing the team’s work, designing assignment plans to ensure timely charge capture, medical coding research and training.
- Collaborate with Billing Team Leaders to drive important Billing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance to coordinate the month close and be able to speak to trends in each district.
- Collaborate with Contracting and Credentialing to manage holds and guarantee that we are compliant in our billing practices.
- Identify key opportunities to improve outdated processes and systems.
- Design and implement a more robust training and development program for the Charge Entry team.
- Serve as the go-to for all front end billing issues and concerns.
