PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Mercy Corps Employee Value Proposition (EVP) Intern will work directly with the Global Talent team. The intern will assist with an overall assessment and definition of Mercy Corps Global Employee Value Proposition (EVP). This includes reviewing internal data collected through current web analytics reports, reviewing current brand guidelines, designing surveys to collect qualitative data, reviewing of Mercy Corps total reward package and other tools as needed. This also includes the assessment of best EVP practices in the non-profit sector.
The intern will be responsible for assessing what information and tools will be required to conduct an exhaustive research and allowing the definition of Mercy Corps EVP across the globe, including taking in consideration Mercy Corps Europe and their tools.
The intern will assist with a variety of talent management programming including survey facilitation, interviews, team support and analysis.
This project is a critical starting point of a wider Employee Brand Strategy initiative.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

DELIVERABLES:
- Review current tools and documents internally
- Assess best practices in international relief and development
- Conduct desk research on cutting-edge practices in EVP
- Produce final report on research and recommendations
IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled BA, MS or recent graduate
- Preferred degrees Human Resources, Business, Communications
- General interest in Human Resources, international/global affairs
- Self-starter, self-managing
- Experience: online survey systems (Survey Monkey), qualitative interviews, presenting and evaluation preferred
- Detail oriented
- Project/Program Management experience a plus
- Experience with working with diverse cultures a plus
- Second language skills a plus
