Las Vegas Monorail Company seeks reliable, highly motivated and energetic individual to work as a full-time Monorail Station Attendant. This position is responsible for performing customer service and providing technical assistance on the monorail stations and trains.
Responsibilities:
- Assist passengers with directions and general information regarding the monorail’s operations (e.g. directions, ticket types, hours of operation, etc.).
- Performing manual operations in response to system failures to recover trains and restore system to normal operation, such as by manually driving train, re-setting train or platform doors, etc.
- Performing simple maintenance on Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) equipment, such as loading ticket and receipt stock, retrieving stuck tickets from fare gates, re-setting alarms.
- Perform station inspections and report discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and/or daily logs as required.
Work Environment:
- Employee will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Heavy interaction with passengers and staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in an outdoor setting
- Ability to work day/swing/night shifts, and overtime as required
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to function as a member of a team
- Valid Nevada drivers’ license
