PRODUCTION TEAM MEMBERS – Columbus, IN
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking safety conscious production workers for our WestRock facility located in Columbus, Indiana. Available positions are for 2nd and 3rd Shift with a starting wage of $17.60 / hour.
Responsibilities:
Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include feeding machines and stacking product; conducting quality checks; machine set-ups; and maintaining a clean and organized work space. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.
Requirements:
Individuals must have a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must also be able to read, write, understand written and oral instructions, and pass pre-placement physical, drug screen and background check.
These positions require the ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend and kneel throughout the entire shift. Candidates must be willing to work overtime and weekend if required.
