Part-time Office Assistant - Lake Street Supply - Chicago, IL

Lake Street Supply seeks a bright, organized, team player to provide assistance in our finance department. Specific finance experience is not necessary; we are happy to train someone who is willing and eager to learn and be a part of our company. This person would work with other administrative and finance staff, primarily assisting the Finance Manager. See www.lakestreetsupply.com Responsibilities : Record and reconcile sales receipts, outgoing invoices, etc. Mail invoices and manage related workflow Generate and manage reports Work with other administrative staff and Owner to ensure accuracy and efficiency Qualifications: At least two years administrative experience; Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel; Experience with PCs and Macs preferable; Ability to learn new software programs as needed; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Good business math skills; Excellent organizational skills; Ability to work independently and be self-motivated; Positive attitude and an ability to work well with others; Ability to walk around storage room and outside in the materials yard. Hours: 25 hrs/wk; somewhat flexible within hours of 7am – 5pm M-F.
