Summary:
The Receptionist serves as an ambassador of good will to all who enter the Community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include, but are not limited to:
Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Routes all calls and takes messages as appropriate;
Gives basic facility information, such as brochures and informational packets to persons wanting information about the assisted living program. Forwards admission inquiries, requested tours/visits to the facility to the Marketing Department.
Greets all visitors in a friendly. courteous and professional manner. Screens and requires visitors to sign in at reception desk. Notifies residents of visitors. Instructs residents visitors according to the residents instructions;
Accepts all outgoing maiVpackages.
Perfonns clerical duties as requested;
Maintains and updates log of all emergency phone numbers. Keeps log at front desk;
Demonstrates an appreciation of the heritage, values. and wisdom of the residents and an understanding of the aging process;
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
