Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Helps unload delivery trucks.
Puts up groceries in freezers, walk-ins or pantries.
Pulls items out of the freezer, walk-ins and pantries for the cooks.
Knows inventory, rotates stock, and keeps items put away and off of the floor.
Inventories at the end of each and every month.
Keeps menus to know what items are needed to be pulled and ready for use.
Rotates all items by the dates.
Makes room ahead of time for new items coming in on the trucks.
Keeps freezers, walk-ins and pantry areas clean. Remove all trash from floors, sweep and mop areas regularly.
Keeps loading dock clean: Clear of all trash, leaves and dirt. Sweep and water hose loading dock.
Keeps low boy and carts clean.
Brings pulls and return sheets and milk invoices to office.
Keeps paper towels and soap dispensers full.
Keeps trash cans clean: Wash out all cans at least once a week. All trash cans, including; by the laundry, snack shop, serving lines and dishwasher. Help with washing trash cans in the cafeteria.
Tears down boxes and place in dumpster. Take out all trash from the kitchen.
Cleans and sanitizes wonder bar every week.
After your lunch and until 11:15am, use time to finish cleaning and stocking.
During lunch you will be in the kitchen running the dishwasher, drying dishes and putting them away. If there is a full staff, you will be in the cafeteria taking out trash, wiping tables, cleaning up spills and taking trays to the dishwasher.. Performs all other tasks as supervisor may assign.
