Mountain Empire Older Citizens, Inc. (MEOC) has an immediate job opening for a Mountain Laurel Cancer Support and Resource Center Coordinator. Position is part of an ongoing project between MEOC and the University of Virginia’s Cancer Center in Charlottesville. Position works as an advocate and educator for individuals seeking services and information. Responsibilities include facilitating community coalition of volunteers to support needs of persons with cancer and their family caregivers, supervision of services of MLCC.

Requirements for this position include:

• Strong communication skills

• Strong organizational and computer skills

• Experience working with volunteers

• Experience educating groups/individuals
