Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: greeting and serving guests, operating a point of sale system, handling cash box and cash register; selling food and merchandise; renting recreation equipment; reserving campsites; maintaining merchandise displays; preparing food products; maintaining clean and sanitary conditions; keeping administrative records and assisting Recreation Attendant I with assigned duties. Qualifications include: any combination of education, training, course work and experience that may qualify the applicant. Knowledge of cash handling and record keeping is preferred. Applicant must be at least 19 years of age for serving alcohol and have the ability to perform manual labor for extended periods of time; lift or exert force on items with varying weights; dress according to uniform policy requirements; add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers accurately; develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors and park guests; communicate effectively in oral and written form; listen to and respond reasonably to guests needs to ensure a pleasant visit and experience. Great Parks of Hamilton County is accepting applications for Recreation Attendant II at Woodland Mound Park. Duties of the Recreation Attendant II may be performed at a boathouse, snack bar, banquet center, golf course, campground or various park facilities. This seasonal position works various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays. Starting Pay rate is $8.26 per hour.
