The key role of a Quick Chek team member is to provide Total Customer Dedication (“TCD”) in servicing customers and to assist management in achieving store objectives.
STATUS:
The Team Member reports to the Store Leader, but in the Store Leader’s absence reports to the manager on duty.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrating Total Customer Dedication (“TCD”):
Provide exceptional customer service.
Tend to customers in a prompt, efficient, friendly manner.
Greet and thank customers.
Sweep, mop and clean as necessary.
Adhere to proper uniform/name tag standards.
Duties:
Keep work area neat and orderly.
Follow proper guidelines for food preparation, cash handling, timekeeping, sanitation and all other procedures.
Keep self updated on new policies and procedures.
Attend mandatory/scheduled store meetings.
Price, pack-out and face grocery/other orders.
Keep bathrooms, trash, floors, counters and countertops clean.
Cross-train in deli, branded foods, bakery and cashier duties.
Compact and consolidate boxes and garbage.
Adhere to loss prevention guidelines.
Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Food Service:
Prepare breakfast foods, sandwiches, soups and salads, hot items and bakery foods according to company guidelines.
Keep deli case clean, fresh and fully-stocked.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines (i.e. wash hands, wear gloves & hat).
Keep dishes and utensils clean and sanitary.
Prepare foods and food service area for next shift.
Follow, practice and promote ServSafe guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledgeable about gas business
Timely arrival & excellent attendance record.
Ability to lift 52 pounds.
Ability to communicate and engage in friendly conversations with customers and team members.
