Responsible for processing, analyzing and

assembling discharged charts and preparing them for permanent

file. Performs audit of active charts on a regular basis.

Maintain accurate input and update of chart deficiencies into the

computer system. Prepare, box and label discharged charts for

remote storage. Back-up coding as

needed.

Requirements


Associate Degree or equivalent combination of

education and experience. RHIA, RHIT or equivalent Medical Records

experience preferred. Coding Certificate is a

plus.
