Temporary Wholesale Apparel Sales- Tradeshow Help - D2 Drysdale Showroom - Dallas, TX

This is an exciting and dynamic opportunity to get experience in the world of women’s wholesale apparel! We are a family owned, multi-line women’s apparel showroom on the 15th floor of the Dallas Market Center. We focus on independent boutiques across a seven state territory. Currently, we represent twelve lines including Free People, Miss Me, PPLA, Mink Pink and many others. We are looking for a few enthusiastic and motivated sellers to assist us at our upcoming Dallas Apparel Market which runs August 10th to 13th. The tradeshow hours will be 7:45am to 5:30pm each day. There is a brief but mandatory training from 4pm to 5pm on Tuesday, August 9th. This is a temporary position that will provide an excellent introduction to individuals considering an opportunity in women’s wholesale apparel sales! Responsibilities will include: -Learning deliveries, selling points, and wholesale terms for assigned line. -Greeting and interacting with accounts. -Showing and selling to current and prospective customers. -Assisting customers in buying decisions, directing and suggesting as needed to build a good sale. -Writing up purchase orders. Our ideal candidate would have the following qualities: -An outgoing and energetic personality. -Ability to engage customers in a selling environment. -Passion for fashion with an understanding of trend and retail sales. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Capable of working independently with little supervision. -A minimum of one year of apparel sales, either retail or wholesale.
