Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for a Network Engineer at our Canton, MS automotive manufacturing facility.
Description:
The Network Engineer will be responsible for design, development, implementation and support of plant-wide industrial control systems and data collection systems that support Nissan’s Manufacturing Operations.
Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited university: equivalent experience may be considered
Ability to multitask on multiple projects throughout the Manufacturing Plant
Ability to demonstrate team leadership across the organization
Most projects will be at home site. However, approximately 5% U.S. and global travel may be required to support projects.
Minimum 1 year wired and wireless network experience
In-depth understanding of both wired and wireless networking concepts and technologies
Experience with CISCO equipment a plus (core switches, catalyst switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points)
Experience with cable infrastructure design and support
Experience with wireless network design and support a plus
