SLC BASIC FUNCTION Reports to principal or administrative designee. Provide classroom teachers with direct intensive instructional support services including research based effective strategies and interventions. SLC EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Four years of academically successful experience as a classroom teacher or equivalent combination of education and experience; a strong background in effective instruction. Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree from an accredited college or university preferred. SST BASIC FUNCTION Assist the site administrator with the management and implementation of student intervention programs, as well as programs that lead to accelerated student learning. SST EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Five years of teaching experience. Knowledge of instruction, relevant curriculum (elementary or secondary) and strategies leading to success for students not meeting grade level standards.
