We are looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor with specific experience in the food processing & packaging industry. As a Quality Supervisor you will lead a team of Quality Technicians on 3rd shift (10pm-6am) to ensure all products meet established standards. You will be the management representative for the quality department and will play a key role in the success of the organization.

Our Desired Candidate possesses these traits:
- Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry or closely related. This is mandatory.
- 3+ years as a Quality (or Food Safety/HACCP) Supervisor in a food processing plant. This is required.
- Willing to work 3rd shift (10pm-6am) is required.
- HACCP Certification is required.
- SQF experience is required. A Certified SQF Practitioner is a definite plus but if not already certified, you will be required to complete this upon hire.
- A positive and energetic attitude is required.
Primary Responsibilities
• Champion food safety and quality to peers, direct reports, and production employees.
• Facilitate resolution of Quality issues between production and QC.
• Supervise and train Quality Technicians for assigned duties. Including assigning work schedules and overtime while maintaining attendance records, approving payroll and administering discipline & conducting performance appraisals for QA Technicians.
• Maintain hold and release program, environmental testing program amd QC data, forms and reports on computer.
• Maintain lab and Quality equipment and facilities needed for product inspection.
• Review HACCP documentation.
• Conducts plant inspections and issues reports, COA’s and samples.
• Involvement in third party and customer audits as required.
