Your contribution
The ISD Senior Manager will play a key role in:
Achieving our goals
You will play a key role in the execution of PSI’s Integrated Service Delivery Strategic Initiative and aid at ensuring our Global Services staff and our 65 country offices are aligned around it and working towards our common goals.
Aligning Processes
You will understand country office needs for achieving integrated service delivery within private sector networks and partner with technical departments to align tools and processes to streamline support in areas such as quality assurance, referrals and linkages, monitoring, provider behavior change communications and services marketing.
Igniting Innovation to expand services
You will identify opportunities to expand the range of services offered in private sector healthcare networks at the country level whether that translates into identifying new funding streams or more effectively leveraging existing resources at the country level.
Collaborating to make it all happen
You won’t be doing this alone and in fact, if you prefer to work solo, this is not the role for you. Collaboration is a core value at PSI and everyone works on a team. You will be connecting and partnering with people at all levels of the organization.
Raising PSI’s Visibility
You will represent PSI at a variety of fora and identify opportunities for effectively showcasing PSI’s integrated service delivery work around the global .You will need to be comfortable talking to donors, technical partners and other key stakeholders about a range of services from maternal health to child survival to family planning to HIV to non-communicable diseases among others.
We want someone that…
Lives our values
We need someone that lives and breathes our values – someone who can role model Measurement, Pragmatism, Honesty, Collaboration, Trust and Commitment on a daily basis.
Makes it real
We want great strategy and alignment of tools, but not if you can’t make it real across PSI. We need someone that can translate complex strategy into action while aiding field programs to more effectively integrated services across various delivery channels (e.g. social franchises, community health workers, pharmacies).
Actively listens and communicates
We want someone who can connect easily with people and share readily promising models and approaches from within the PSI network and from outside. You will be an effective and creative communicator whether speaking one on one or in front of a large group. French proficiency is a plus.
Possesses Street Cred
8+ years experience implementing complex public health service delivery programs in the development context as well as experience managing private sector healthcare networks. You will have a demonstrated understanding of provider behavior change techniques and services marketing. Relevant post-graduate degree (MPH, MD, RN, MA).
Acts as a team player
You “play well” with others and enjoy seeing the impact of our work as a team.
Multitasks with ease
You’re able to juggle multiple tasks at once while ‘staying calm and carrying on.’ This role isn’t for the meek. We want excitement, not reluctance when a decision needs to be made or you’re asked to speak in front of 500 people.
Brings knowledge and new ideas
We want someone who understands how to integrate health services with fragmented funding and someone who brings ideas as to how the private sector might play a role in Universal Health Coverage.
Seeks freshness
You look for inspiration in unexpected places.
Can take a joke
You take your work seriously, but not yourself.
