Mercy First is looking for a bi-lingual (Spanish) speaking New York State Certified Teacher to work our START Program. The teacher will be responsible for conducting individual and small group sessions for students placed in the program. This position is part-time 21 hours, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities will include, developing individualized courses of study according to curriculum guidelines, school district and state requirements, preparing assignments, tests, and homework based on the individual needs of the students in the program,and maintaining records of the student academic performance, attendance, and behaviors during the school day. All applicants must maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
