Cashier I - Main Hospital - Beaumont Hospitals, Grosse Pointe - Grosse Pointe, MI

This position is located at Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital and is part-time. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English. Basic math skills, ability to make change. Cash handling and food service experience, preferred. Performs cashiering and food services duties necessary to provide five-star services to all customers. Maintains accurate and appropriate cash handling functions. Meets sanitation and safety standards in serving, storage, and dining areas. Provides excellent patient and family centered care and services as it relates to the Beaumont Standards. Strong customer service skills. Able to work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment and with potentially difficult customers while maintaining a positive attitude. Accurately and quickly rings sales and makes change according to cash handling policies and procedures. Reports variances and concerns to leader/supervisor Re-stocks and maintains displays to department standards. Rotates product using FIFO.
