JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for supporting the President and Director of Marketing with various projects, including writing social posts, community and client management, analytics reporting, and influencer research. Our ideal candidate? Someone who is obsessed with social media, and is equally creative and thoughtful when interacting with online communities and building relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor the brand’s social media channels and respond on behalf of the business
- Schedule and post content across social channels including Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter
- Identify trending topics as they arise and react accordingly
- Support Director of Marketing in campaign initiatives
- Partner with the social media and creative teams for social media design requests
- Respond to customer service issues, and identify opportunities to engage with clients in unique and fun ways
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
Required Minimum: College Senior or Recent Graduate
Preferred: BS Degree in Marketing/Business or Communications
EXPERIENCE:
Required Minimum: 6 months – 1 year of marketing experience, either in-house or agency (internships are fine)
Preferred: Marketing/Business or Communications majors with 1-2 years’ social media experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS or ABILITIES:
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter
- Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with an ability to shift priorities quickly
- Highly organized and detail-oriented that is happy executing on a tactical level
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote (PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated initiative and passion, willing to offer up new ideas and go above and beyond the duties of the job
