CAMRIS seeks a Cost Associate to perform the following duties as part of the Business Development team:


  • Lead the timely development of cost volume and proposal pricing in accordance with technical, management and cost specifications of a solicitation.

  • Coordinate the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling and performance elements for use in proposals.

  • Research and analyze historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts.

  • Support development of subcontracts when the company subs to another prime contractor.

  • Responds to Task Orders on awarded contracts, requiring quick turn on cost estimates and pricing.

  • Works closely with Proposal Coordinator and other Business Development team members to develop and support quality proposal outputs and processes.

  • Participates as a member of the proposal process from the capture stage through proposal submission, as well as any rounds of questions.

  • Interest in international development funding.

The successful candidate must have:


  • A minimum of two years of work experience, with at least six months of specialized pricing experience.

  • An ability to learn quickly and independently.

  • A bachelor’s degree in international relations, finance, or a related field.


  • Strong knowledge of Cost Volume management.




  • Strong computer skills and experience with Excel and Word.




  • Understanding of government contract proposal processes.




  • Sensitivity to multiple deadlines.




  • Strong written and oral communications skills.




  • Ability to remain highly organized.



Preferred qualifications:


  • French language

  • USAID experience
