Oxfam International is an equal opportunities employer, committed to diversity within the workplace.

One person in three in the world lives in poverty. Oxfam is determined to change that world by mobilizing the power of people against poverty.

The Rights in Crisis campaign works to support people affected by crises to have their voices heard, access the services and assistance they need, stand up for their rights and rebuild their lives. In 2016, we started a global displacement and migration campaign as part of our humanitarian campaigning work.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead and support policy development and research in the global Rights in Crisis campaign, with a special thematic responsibility to play a leading role in developing displacement and migration related policy across Oxfam International and to coordinate engagement in advocacy across the organisation.

The successful applicant will have an advanced degree in a relevant field as well as strong knowledge of global humanitarian and conflict issues, particularly those related to global displacement, refugee law and how migration impacts on women and girls. An understanding of the role of public campaigning in achieving change in tandem with policy work is essential.

S/he will be a team player, with the ability to negotiate and lead in a multi-stakeholder environment, as well as organisational, project management and strong analytical skills.
The position requires excellent writing and lobbying skills and strategic judgment.

Fluency in English required.
