Our vision is to deliver clinical solutions to our customers, whether indirectly through Original Equipment Manufacturers of MRI scanners, or directly to clinical MRI users. As an Invivo Finance team member, you will be at the core of operations of an entrepreneurial business unit. Invivo finance is responsible for the unit’s finance and accounting operations, reporting, consolidation of worldwide results and other business partner activities to support MRI coils and solutions product development, operations, sales and customer services.

Your Responsibilities:
As assistant controller, you will be second-in-command in finance department, working side-by-side with the controller. Your responsibilities will include the following main areas:

Accounting, consolidation and reporting
? Monitor, review and work closely with finance manager on the preparation of unit’s financial statements
? Oversee the preparation of worldwide consolidated financial statements
? Ensure high integrity of month-end closing process and accuracy of financial statements
? Shared responsibility for unit’s internal control framework

Financial Planning and analysis
? Manage Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecast process
? End-to-end responsible for financial operational planning
? Execute profitability analysis for the various sales channels and different product lines and customers
? Perform pricing analysis and retail price variance to forecast
? Prepare monthly reporting package for management
? Perform financial budgeting and risk analysis for investment requests, including business case and capital investment approval process
? Perform actual x forecast analysis and provide value added commentary to monthly and quarterly financial results

Operations
? Maintain process and execution of IFRS R&D capitalization
? R&D project tracking and control
? Overall responsibility for administration of sales compensation, including but not limited to: policy writing, overseeing IT architecture, commissions calculation, reporting and process control
? Manage Accounts Receivable function, including but not limited to review of aging reports, process improvements for collections and effective cash flow management
? Support the controller in various ad hoc requests, such as business cases for potential acquisitions, 5-year strategy review and financial aspects of manufacturing expansion in China

? Strong analytical skills
? Structured, organized and result oriented way of working.
? Work well under pressure and be willing to put the energy to get the job done. Able to meet strict due dates and timelines. No 9-5 mentality.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate with different levels in the hierarchy and to take a leadership role to effectively influence cross-functional teams
? Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or finance. Previous exposure to supply chain is a plus.
? BS or BA degree required.
? CPA or MBA preferred.
? Previous experience with ERP reporting package, SAP and SAP Business Warehouse desired
? Excellent PC skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Our client in Northern Ireland, a market leading manufacturing company is on the hunt for an immediately available, Group Financial Controller to work in their international headquarters in Co Antrim.
As Group Financial Controller, you will manage Group reporting for all of the business units and Head Office, overseeing Finance and Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting, Financial Reviews and Group Taxation. This role involves managing a team of 5 staff. In this job, you will be expected to maintain high ethical and professional standards. Travel may be required as you support various individual sites working with various teams and sites.
As a qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experience, you will have superior communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships. A sound knowledge of Accounting and Finance fundamentals is required to embrace all aspects of statutory and management reporting, taxation, budgeting and forecasting and financial reviews, together with exposure to external financial parties in matters of world wide financing.
Strong and up-to date technical accounting knowledge is required.

In particular a detailed working knowledge of group consolidations will be considered an essential criteria.

This individual must be flexible in order to meet the ongoing requirements of the group.
