The Project Associate (PA) is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of technical efforts, projects, programs, and activities by coordinating programmatic information and providing logistical support. She or he works with several project teams and is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of project-specific activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in international development, anthropology, public health, policy, business administration or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience working in the professional setting.
Excellent written and verbal language skills in English.
Professional proficiency, written and oral, in French required.
Demonstrated ability in computer skills for word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and presentations (Microsoft Office applications preferred); and ability to learn new software packages.
Proven competence to assess priorities and manage a variety of activities in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as an effective team member in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse staff, clients, and consultants.
