National firm based in Maryland seeks a seasoned project manager needed to coordinate content development and maintenance activities on numerous online and on-ground instructional programs and special projects. The correct person for this role is highly organized, detail oriented, can interface with vendors and partners, can train and manage staff, and can quickly reorganize resources to adapt to changing priorities and new opportunities. The ideal candidate also has instructional design experience and has worked with higher education materials and/or publishers.
Primary job tasks include program coordination, tracking, and reporting; content analysis; market assessment; and staff management.
The project manager will oversee content teams responsible for tasks including writing course and exam objectives, writing course storyboards and assessments, tracking modifications and updates to course materials, assembling on-ground course documents, designing and developing exams, aligning existing content to objectives, editing exam items and courses, working with SMEs, addressing queries from course instructors and mentors, and writing end-user documentation.
The ideal candidate will work remotely and be able to devote no less than 30 hours per week to this project. Candidates may be independent contractors or we are also open to bringing on a full-time employee for the right candidate. Hourly rate for contractors / salary for full-time employees commensurate with experience.
