Receptionist / Administrative Assistant - Swedish American Chamber of Commerce - New York, NY






The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Inc. (SACC New York) is a private membership organization founded in 1906. SACC New York is the world’s largest and most active Swedish chamber outside of Sweden.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, professional and detail-oriented Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to manage and maintain a well-functioning front office, as well as assisting in various events.
Key Tasks:


  • Greet and assist visitors

  • Answer incoming calls and make adequate response to requests and questions

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conference calls, etc

  • Maintain a current and accurate filing system for all correspondence

  • Handle all mail, package deliveries, and other shipments

  • Maintain all office equipment, and re-supply of office supplies

  • Manage and maintain the President’s schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements

  • Assist in events

Preferred Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong interpersonal skills, and with a pleasant manner and personal appearance

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Swedish

  • Some years of experience from office administration, preferably in a similar role

  • Great attention to details

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office

U.S. work permit is a MUST!
