Data Entry Clerk - Natus Medical Incorporated - San Carlos, CA

SUMMARY:

Provides order and data entry support to internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Stay up-to-date and follow all Quality System procedures related to this job, which can affect the quality of products or services provided to our customers.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Process domestic customer purchase orders assisting customers by fax or email. Ensure sales orders are processed and completed in a timely manner according to Customer Service established procedures. Provide any assistance required to ensure customer satisfaction with order entry/shipping process.

  • Provide customer follow up when revised purchase orders are required.

  • Provide Order Confirmation to customer.

  • Provide back up to other functional areas in Customer Services as requested.

  • Travel Required: none

    Education and/or Experience


    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Language Skills


    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.


    Mathematical Skills


    Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


    Reasoning Ability


    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


    Other Skills and Abilities


    PC experience (MS Word, Excel, CRM, ERP) required.
    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
