Associate - Inventory Control - Memorial Healthcare System - Pembroke Pines, FL





Responsible for performing all duties related to par-stock maintenance, patient charging and credits, equipment decontamination and cleaning, preparation of procedure trays and carts and distribution functions.

1. Maintains proper inventory levels for assigned areas utilizing current inventory processes while ensuring all dated materials are within an acceptable date range.


2. Assures the availability of safe patient care equipment by performing required rounds.


3. Provides timely accurate reprocessing of all procedure carts and trays.


4. Performs scheduled Quality Assurance checks on crash carts, intubation trays, par-stock supplies and procedure trays.


5. Performs timely and accurate patient charges and credits.


6. Follows all departmental safety and infection control measures at all times.


Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.


Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Experience HS diploma or equivalent required.
