Toyota’s Corporate Shared Services Indirect Procurement Department (CSSIP) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Contract Analyst.


The primary responsibility of this role is to support enterprise-wide contract negotiations as part of a joint effort with CSSIP and Legal One.


Reporting to the Contract Manager, the person in this role will support the CSSIP department’s objective to educate client groups of the various contract options and supports execution of agreements with suppliers that do not require Legal intervention in an effort to reduce contract cycle times.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for coordination of contract requests

  • Liaison between Procurement Consultant/Buyer, Toyota business units and Toyota’s Legal Department

  • Coordinate agreements incorporating pricing and payment terms negotiated by the Procurement Consultant

  • Maintain repository of all standard legal templates: MSA (Master Service Agreement), SOW (Statement of Work), NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), etc.

  • Draft and redline standard agreements, non-standard agreements and/or vendor agreements

  • Interpret contract provisions for management explaining risks, options and recommendations for exceptions

  • Support the Procurement Strategic Planning group to ensure all contract documents are stored in the Ariba contract repository

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor Degree

  • Strong communication skills with a wide range of styles and approaches to suit different situations

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and decision-making skills

  • Proven leadership and relationship building skills

A successful candidate may have:

  • Technical experience with Ariba and Coupa software

  • A Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree

  • Strong procurement or contract negotiation experience

  • Ability to determine and independently develop appropriate contracting strategies

  • Proficiency using Visio, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications

  • Keen understanding of Toyota’s NA (North American) operations across all affiliates
