Job Description: Performs complex, specialized administrative tasks to ensure that department or division operations flow smoothly by performing the following duties. Manages the front office area, provides general clerical assistance to the department, including answering telephones, responding to inquiries and composing correspondence. Greets visitors and guests and guides them to the appropriate area or person. Answers questions concerning the organization or department, or refers persons to another source of information.
Files documents and maintains a filing system. Searches and retrieves information from files, computer records, and other documents in response to specific requests. Completes all office supply ordering and inventory of supplies. Stores material in paper form, or enters information into computerized storage system.
Assists in the creation and maintenance of various files. Works on special projects as assigned. Sorts and distributes mail. Assists in the preparation of payroll records for assigned divisions.
Performs other duties as assigned. Requires: Associate”s Degree (AA/AS); and one to two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel and Word or similar software. Valid state issued driver”s License.$14.37/Hour –
