Assists
the pharmacist in the delivery of pharmaceutical care. Tasks will include, but
not limited to: routine rounding to all patient care areas, pick and deliver
needed stock to areas, ordering and restocking the pharmacy, medication cart
fill and delivery, IV admixture, removal and return of expired products, and
participation in department and hospital future development.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED; college courses desirable but not required
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, BONDING: Must register or be registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy. National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred but not required. Completion of national certification is expected within first 3 years of employment
EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: None required
