United States of America: Marketing and Communications Intern - DC


INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the supervision of the Global Communications Officer, the intern will primarily assist in developing content to promote Project Concern International’s (PCI) work. Secondarily, the intern will assist with other marketing and development tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Current undergraduate or graduate student preferably studying communications, marketing, public relations or related field




  • Applicant must be a current student and either able to receive academic credit or able to provide an official letter from the school stating that the internship contributes to intern’s education




  • Enthusiastic self-starter




  • Good writing, editing and communications skill




  • Interest in NGOs and global development



  • Eye for photography

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Computer skills MS Office, WordPress and Salesforce a plus

  • Ability to use own computer a plus

  • Video creation/editing experience a plus

  • Graphic design experience a plus

  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency a plus

SCHEDULE:


We are looking for dedicated individuals willing to commit to a 3 month minimum internship of 15-20 hours per week during business hours. This internship is an unpaid position located at PCI – Washington, DC.
