RN-Emergency Room
Location: Fairview Ridges Hospital, Burnsville MN
Emergency Nursing care for a diversified population of all age distributions(infant to geriatrics) and all problem types in a very busy Level 3 trauma Emergency Room. 53,000 cases per year.
Includes assessment, care planning, interventions, and teaching
36 bed ED and Peds ER open evenings
ER physician staffing 24 hrs a day.
Typically 3-4 patients per RN, with support of ER techs, HUC’s, transport aides.
Position could be min of 56 hr and maximum of 72 , all benefit eligible. Shifts to be determined.
Qualifications
Current MN RN licensure or eligible for reciprocity by start date.
Requires ability to provide written validation of current basic life support competency or ability to obtain written validation within 30 days of hire.
Requires ability to provide current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) and TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) will be required of all staff within the first year of employment.
Requires 1 yr of either Emergency Department, pediatric/ adult critical care, or telemetry nursing experience.
Must have current computer skills, able to work in a fast paced environment, able to work with a diverse patient population in a TEAM environment.
