Hours Per Week: 40 (DAY SHIFT, 6:00am – 2:30pm)
Summary
Provide custodial service to a world-class science facility.
Duties
Duties include, but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming; dusting furniture and structural ledges; empty and clean trash and recycle containers; clean, sanitize, & restock restrooms; Clean glass on entryway doors and interior windows; assist in conference room setups.
Skills/Qualifications
Able to communicate in English well enough to understand and communicate with supervisor regarding work assignments/safety issues. Must be able to read and comply with posted warnings and have the ability to follow written and oral instruction.
Able to work on feet majority of the shift; carry material/equipment up and down stairs; Able to climb stairs and/or ladders. Able to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift 50 lbs. to chest height. Able to work in confined spaces, around rotating equipment and under florescent lighting. Have manual dexterity in both hands.
