Responsible for conducting drug/alcohol screens utilizing various sanctioned testing methodologies, collecting and disposing of urine specimens, maintaining accountability for specimen identification, communicating on a regular basis with probation staff and documenting results of drug/alcohol testing for case files, testifying in court regarding positive drug/alcohol screens, and collecting statistics pertaining to drug/alcohol screens for submission to the Administrative Office of Probation.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from high school or its equivalent and successfully complete required training associated with drug/alcohol screening methodologies.
PREFERRED: Prior experience working with client populations helpful as is substance abuse or chemical testing training.
OTHER: Spanish is desired but not required.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients, capable of organizing and prioritizing daily work activities.
