PSI’s People, Learning and Performance Department is the organization’s cultivator of talent, employee development, and culture. We focus on nurturing a positive employer brand both externally and internally with prospective candidates and in PSI colleagues’ minds and hearts. We’re responsible for people – everything from recruitment, hiring, onboarding, benefits, performance management and career growth.


Purpose


The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical expertise on talent and learning systems. This consultancy will focus on providing expert knowledge to analyze and advise on career pathing, PSI’s online learning management system (PSI University), and our approach to strategic workforce planning.


Activities


Career Pathing


  • Review and define staffing levels at PSI

  • Review and revise job descriptions to match staffing levels

  • Work with the PLP team to create career paths and develop the review system for how managers engage

  • Design and deliver training and performance support tools for PSI staff (and new managers)

Talent Review


  • Conduct literature review and provide an insight report on talent review and monitoring system

  • Review current movement committee and staff planning systems. Design and pilot a talent review system to replace current systems

Learning Management System


  • Review current LMS platform PSI University and provide a recommendation (including pro’s and con’s) of migrating to another platform

  • Based on the decision to migrate, develop a 12-moth roadmap with the timetable, budget required, critical issues and factors to consider for a successful implementation.

Knowledge and Experience Requirements


  • Strong working knowledge of latest evidence and best practices in talent management, learning management systems, and career development

  • Experience leveraging the design thinking process or creative thinking techniques as an approach to developing organizational systems

  • Experience in training, facilitation, and performance support from phases of design to evaluation

  • Strong project management skills
