The
Workforce Incentive Navigator
will report to the VR-SSA Employment Support Manager and is responsible for conducting centralized intake of referrals to project for WIPA services and insures all I&R assessments have been completed.
This position will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide general administrative support to the WIPA Unit
- Conduct intake for WIPA services
- Represents unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers
- Resolves issues and prepares research data.
- Conduct customer satisfaction survey as assigned
- Compile staff report data to assist Project Director with bi-annual SSA reports
- Track Project Budget and timelines
- Travel statewide when necessary to assist Project Director with staff reviews.
- Community Work Incentive Coordinator Services to support the Statewide VR/WIPA team as needed
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR Four years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the entry qualifications, possess one or more of the items below:
- Master’s Degree or coursework for Master’s degree in Counseling or related field plus 1 year experience working with adults with disabilities. OR Bachelor’s Degree in Rehabilitation or related field with at least 3 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities in a professional capacity.
- Working knowledge of the Vocational Rehabilitation process, general knowledge of various community resources
Please note that Federal Clearance will be required for this position.
