We are looking for an intern to support the administrative, communication and visibility activities of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Business Network team at the global and country level for 6 months in the Washington DC office.
The SUN Business Network (SBN) aims to build a global platform of businesses committed to scaling up nutrition. Its ambition is to foster a new dialogue and relationship between business and other development actors in nutrition, which will lead to new, innovative ways of addressing malnutrition.
The intern will support the team with the delivery of key 2016 priorities in the area of communications and events. The intern will more particularly provide general administration in addition to drafting communications materials for SBN Global and Country teams. He/She will support with the organization of a SBN regional workshop in West Africa and help among other things, with the tracking and logging of SBN’s business commitments and SUN country requests for business support.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration, development studies, public health related studies or relevant subject. A first administrative experience is desirable. Further, the ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. He/she will have an excellent working knowledge of the entire MS Office package along with good general IT skills
