Job Summary: The Benefits Administrator will assist the Benefits Manager and Benefits Specialist with providing expertise and strategic leadership for the HR functional areas of Benefits with functional oversight of Benefits Administration that support our global operations. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the day to day administration of all benefit plans as well as fulfilling department Receptionist responsibilities as needed. This position reports to the Benefits and Staff Care Manager.
Specific Job Duties:
Benefits
• Primarily responsible for benefits administration including accurate payment of vendor monthly billings, performing accurate billing reconciliations, leaves administration, terminations and maintenance of benefit plans.
• Assists in the coordination of employee wellness and engagement activities, such as 403B meetings, Benefits Health Fair and the Flu Shot Clinic.
• Provide assistance with the Organization’s benefit function in a domestic and international environment. Plans include health, life, AD&D, disability, workers compensation, pension and 403b, Offshore retirement plan, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), commuter benefits, FMLA, COBRA and other ancillary benefits.
• Provide assistance with open enrollment process including self-service updates, testing, and open enrollment communications and training, and audit of open enrollment data in multiple vendor systems.
• Will learn to act as a back-up to Benefits Specialist for direction of employees to proper benefit resources and resolution of benefit issues.
• Assist in the updating of benefits orientation materials and benefits relating recruiting materials.
• Assist with the administration of claims (disability, life, AD&D, workers compensation) processing and resolves coverage questions and problems.
HRIS
• Assist with training all employees and designated administrators on how to use the “Self Service” feature of the HRIS system. (*ADP Enterprise is our operating system).
• Serves as a back-up for updating and maintain the HRIS system with general benefits, and other HR related communications and documents.
• Performs data audits, provides monthly reports.
Receptionist
• Greet CRS visitors and answer general phone inquiries
• Maintain building security, particularly regarding visitors to the building
• Provide visitors with wireless access and additional support to CRS staff visiting from other offices
• Coordinate schedule of Mass celebrants
• Other duties as assigned by the Benefits and Staff Care Manager

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts degree or three years of related experience required
• One year of relevant customer service experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft products including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Please note: This position is a part of the overall security plan for CRS Baltimore, the staff member filling this role generally does not have flexibility in work hours or to participate in activities away from the front desk.
