Data Center CSE * Job Title: Data Center CSE * Posting Date: February 2016 * Travel Percentage: up to 75% * Location: St Louis/Virtual * US Citizenship Required: Yes * Shift: Varied Job Description: Responsibilities: Aligns with our client’s Sales team to represent their Data Center (Storage, Servers, Virtualization, Backups, Fabric, etc.) expertise to all assigned accounts. * Uses knowledge of technology, products and services to build Data Center solutions (and solution options) for the customer. * Works with clients and Outside Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into client’s Data Center opportunities. * Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting post sale technical resources. * Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables within the domain of the opportunity which may include items such as configurations, architectural diagrams, and proposals. * Leads in managing and reporting all assigned accounts Data Center opportunities. * Manages and achieves a Data Center gross profit number. * Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key data center partners who are local to your region and/or territory. * Assists in statement of work review and development. * Responsible for designing and proposing Advanced Technology solutions that meet customer’s needs. * Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer. * Assists with accounts within assigned geography. * Assists with accounts within assigned geography. * Works closely with client’s Sales team to prioritize requests. * Performs other duties as required. Required Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent 4 years of directly related work experience) and an additional 5+ years related experienceRequired Skills: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Excellent presentation skills and technical sales skills * Must have a passion driving storage/server/virtualization solutions strategies. * Confident leader ability to work in a complex matrix organization * Strong presence and ability to earn credibility and trust with internal and external clients. * Knowledge of the technical aspects of storage, server, backup and virtualization hardware, software and architecture(s) in Cisco UCS, EMC, NetApp, VMware and Citrix. * Understanding of Cisco’s, EMC’s, HP’s, NetApp’s, Citrix’s & VMware’s configuration and quoting tools highly desired. * EMC, HP TSG and/or VMware certifications highly desired. * Other SAN certifications are highly desired * Experience in Virtualization, Oracle, SDN, Optical networks * Experience with SOW’s and BOM’s strongly preferred * Experience supporting enterprise data center environments, ideally at the Fortune 500 level. * Ability to travel up to 75% * CCNP or CCDP required and CCIE is desired.
