Detroit Forming, Inc. is a manufacturer of plastic packaging for the food industry. DFI has been in business for 54 years and has operations in 8 states and 3 countries.
We are seeking individuals for entry-level positions assisting with the operation of our Production presses and maintaining a clean work environment.
Current openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift with schedules of 3:30pm to 11:30pm and 11:30pm to 7:30am respectively. 5 day work week, Monday thru Friday, with a ½ day every other Saturday.
This position is eligible for additional overtime pay, a weekly bonus for good attendance, medical, dental and vision insurance along with a variety of other benefits.
Basic math skills and ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs are required. Good mechanical aptitude and prior experience in a manufacturing environment are desirable, but not required.
