Registrar Assistant - Stevens-Henager College - Work at Home

The Center for Excellence in Higher Education (CEHE) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. CEHE operates degree-granting career colleges throughout the western United States and online. The college brands include Stevens-Henager Colleges in Utah and Idaho; CollegeAmerica in Colorado, Arizona, and Wyoming; California College San Diego, and Independence University (online platform). All of the colleges are accredited by ACCSC, a national accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. The colleges offer degree programs from the Associate’s level through the Master’s level in variety of disciplines including: Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Business/Accounting, Medical Specialties, Nursing, and Healthcare. Registrar Assistant


The Registrar Assistant reports to the Campus Registrar and aids will all financial aspects of that office.


Essential Functions:


  • Register students.

  • Maintain student Files.

  • Assist students with questions.

  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Registrar.

  • Change student statuses.

  • Evaluate transfer credit.

  • Approve graduates, send diplomas and transcripts.

  • Monitor SAP for all students.

  • Oversee student’s progress and plan to graduate.

  • Assist the Registrar with the Master Schedule.

  • Distribute quarterly awards to the students.

  • Update student’s personal information.

  • Track student’s attendance.

  • Verify student’s enrollment and graduation.

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required. Bachelor’s preferred

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, & Excel) and writing skills.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience with the above duties.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Must have excellent people skills and be detail oriented.

  • Type 50 wpm.

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Aptitude for solving problems with minimal supervision.

Measures of Merit:
TBD by supervisor within 90 days of hire.
