Purpose: To provide members with friendly, accurate and timely service. To represent the Credit Union in a friendly and professional manner. Expectations:
- Provide friendly, professional, personal service to all members
- Maintain member confidentiality
- Maintain a professional work environment and a businesslike appearance
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in posting member transactions
- Maintain a good attendance record
- Follow all security procedures and policies
- Follow all operational procedures and policies regarding member transactions and information
- Participate in training programs offered
- Work as part of the team
- Be courteous, tactful and diplomatic
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide members with quality member service both at the window, the drive thru and on the telephone
- Answer telephones giving the information requested and re-routing if necessary
- Process member transactions, including but not limited to: Deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing, disbursing credit union checks, making change, selling tickets, etc.
- Scan in all checks received
- Take proper messages and announce forwarded calls using the caller’s name
- Work with members to eliminate any account warnings on their account
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Post incoming mail deposits and payments
- Process returned mail and address changes
- Ensure the lobby and teller area is neat and clean
- Process night deposit payments, under dual control
- Process check orders
- Assist members with address changes
- Distribute all incoming faxes in a timely manner
- Follow up to ensure all opening and closing procedures are followed
- Image documents into efichency when necessary
- Post payrolls when necessary
- Cross sell products and services
- Replenish transaction request forms
- Keep brochure racks in the lobby fully stocked

Required experience:
- Teller/Cash Handling Experience: 1 year
Required education:
- High school or equivalent
