Our client, an intergrated marketing communications agency is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join their team.
The Email Marketing Manager is a passionate, forward thinking and experienced email marketer who will develop, manage and deliver our client’s email strategy, delivering high quality, integrated email campaigns for ourselves and our clients.
The Email Marketing Manager will report directly to the Digital Marketing Director.
Desired Skills & Expertise
- Experience of End to end management of email campaigns, from initial client brief to set up, delivery and reporting
- Experience of a wide range of ESPs including Dotmailer, HubSpot, Exact Target & MailChimp
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of global email and data protection laws
- Basic working knowledge of HTML coding for emails
- Working knowledge of CRM tools such as SalesForce.com
- Experience in developing, running and reporting of automated, lead nurturing campaigns
- Knowledge of email KPIs and Google Analytics for tracking campaign performance and ROI
- The ability to develop robust email processes and identify and deliver change
- Sound commercial/business acumen and budget management experience
- Exceptional account handling skills
- Passionate, self-motivated and ambitious
- A strategic thinking with excellent commercial awareness
- A positive, friendly and flexible attitude
Key responsibilities
- Managing the Orange Business Services email account (24 hours per week) through exact target
- Manage the Motability email marketing account
- Advise and support the new business team on our client’s email strategy
- To consult, advise and assist internal teams with their email activity, ensuring campaigns achieve maximum impact and efficiency.
- To be the first and central contact for all email activity at the organisation.
- Sign off on the design and production of emails in collaboration with the relevant creative and account teams.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of email templates for our client accounts and devise mew layouts where required
- Provide insight into audience behaviour, analyse campaign data and report back to the agency periodically
- Head up the team of agency ‘Email Ninjas’ and train them on industry trends and new system features
- Implement a systematic approach to testing and optimisation.
- Set up standard reporting templates
- Ensure all agency emails comply with privacy and protection laws
- Develop agency wide best practice, benchmarks and stay on top of new trends and tactics
This is at the moment a six month fixed term role which could go permanent – contracted hours can be full or part time and shall be negotiated based on your availability.
